As we know fire by friction is a process that has been used for a long time now. Using this process the fuel heats up till it reaches the temperature when it is combustible and then ignites! Some of the methods used for the purpose are:
· The Fire Plow
· The Fire Saw
· The Hands Drill
· The Bow Drill
Each of the methods use one piece of hardwood with another that is a slightly softer wood. Of course it is vital to remember that success is dependent on practice, the materials used, troubleshooting and strength entirely. I certainly hope you have great luck lighting the fire!
